i am really mad and upset about the news i just read about Paris. the terror and people killed for nothing! i have a heavy heart tonight. i am thankful for my rage today, because we all need rise up and say no more to this violence and hurt that keeps showing itself around the world. people, we are supposed to love each other and take care of one another! stop killing. this is our last morning in Maui. i was watching the opening of the Emerging Women conference live streaming in San Francisco, and Chantal Pierrat was talking about when you speak your truth you are a natural leader. She referred to a quote, “your truth is as bright as 16 suns.”

then i closed the computer, and watched the sunrise and went down to the ocean. that is my truth. I also saw an amazing snail. In Maui the snails are giant. this perfect snail was reminding me to go slow and take my time when I get back to the Bay Area. do what speaks to me and not to rush along with the busy that seems to consume us all in silicon valley.

That journey is filled with bad moods and grouchiness sometimes as we flow throughout our days. How can we change the story and turn it around to learn and grow from it? I go out in nature and immerse myself in the sand and the waves. I let the love of my boys fill me up. I surround myself with the strongest women that teach me to love and trust everyday.
