i have loved making lots of homemade food over the break with my family-infusing it with love and magic as i cook.  today i made chicken broth and curry roasted squash soup. i’m doing a winter Ayurvedic food-based cleanse this week. i’m choosing to do yoga everyday and not have sugar, wheat, dairy, and alcohol for a week.  

it’s so easy for me to get hooked on sugar!  so this week, i will once again say goodbye to it. i decided to do this cleanse, because last week a good friend told me she started doing yoga on a regular basis this month, because i inspired her. i’m so glad she told me that! i’m so happy for her.❤️

 even today, after doing yoga pretty much everyday for a year, it’s still hard. it’s hard to grow and change my energy everyday. especially in the winter, when i want to go and crawl into a cave and stay home and eat potato chips and chocolate.  if you see me this week, could you give me a hug? also, tell all your friends when they inspire you, they really need to hear it.

  

    
    
   

   
    
  

Fill Yourself Up With Love 
2015 was an amazing and transformative year for me. I am excited to share new ideas and adventures with you in 2016. I will be offering journeys in nature this year. Remember your wildness. Feel the grace of the natural world. I will hold space for you to open up and feel while in nature. Write your story, journal, create art, or just wander and take it all in. Shining smiles will form.   I had an amazing 44th birthday celebration at the ocean this weekend. The sunset and the waves went all out! My friend Patrick Bremser of http://www.patrickbremserphotography.smugmug.com took some great photos of me and I didn’t even know it. He came down with Jana, his wife and my beautiful friend as well, to see the sunset with us and celebrate.  I thought he was just getting great shots of the waves and lit up clouds. Later that night he sent me these beautiful photos. It was an impromptu photo session. I am full of gratitude. He captured the energy that I was feeling that night. Pure joy, fun, and letting go. i had beautiful dreams last night. i was loved, supported and seen. i feel like this in the trees. they love and see me just as i am. that was the beauty of my dream, someone held space for me. the trees do this, and accept my tears and smiles and any sorrow i have.
